The things that used to help us relax, music, sport and theatre have all shut down as the U.K. is in Lockdown and many of the self employed people in these industries are suffering financially in this crisis. Luckily, one of the leading lights of the creative industries is leading the way in alleviating our boredom and helping us...

“Merry Swiftmas” I proclaimed yesterday morning as I picked up a copy of Taylor Swift’s seventh studio album Lover the minute doors opened at the local record store, sporting a Taylor Swift t-shirt and my reputation socks! Zoe Hodges has been a Country music journalist for 3 years over at Best of British Country Music and has been writing songs a lot longer. She's performed in the UK, the US and Bulgaria and has had press access to gigs and festivals all over Great Britain and even in Nashville and has had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in the genre. Zoe is eager to broaden her horizons in this new venture which aims to focus on songwriters across all genres though old habits die hard so expect a little bit of emphasis on the Country and Pop side of music!

Guest writer Molly Adele Brown has recently moved from New York to Nashville to chase her dream of being a hit songwriter and Country singer. After meeting Molly earlier this year when she was performing at Vamos Festival in Perth Scotland, we asked her to share her stories and adventures as she tries to make it in Nashville! Earlier this year Molly played the world famous CMA Festival, so we'd say she's doing pretty well for herself! We wish her all the best and can't wait to share more of her adventures with you. Check out Molly's music here.
