Full line-up announced including pop-ups!

Hello! Well more and more artists and different stages keep being revealed and this line up is starting to look like one of the best yet. One of my disappointments when the line-up was first announced was that Ashley Mcbride will only be doing a short set in the Arena. Now according to the C2C App (Don't forget to download it!) There are three opportunities to see her perform in more intimate settings throughout the day! For those not going to the after parties there are some great acts on free stages in Building Six and All Bar One including Lanco, Lindsay Ell and Mo Pitney. Highlights on the radio 2 stage include Ashley Campbell, Danielle Bradberry and Levi Hummon. UK acts on the line-up i

Who are your CMA Songwriters 2018?

Hello Since the CMA Songwriters announcement earlier today social media has been buzzing with people discussing who they’re excited about on the line up. I haven’t seen any moans and groans at this line up yet which is great and no wonder as every one of the five acts appearing in the round deserves their spot. However for those of you who don’t know who everyone is we’ve put together a handy little piece on each songwriter with an overview of their careers so far. Lets start with our host for the evening Brett James. One word… Legend. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Brett perform in writers rounds in Nashville and each song he played was another hit. Back in 2015 when I saw him perform as p

Molly Adele Brown releases new single with a powerful message Me Too!

Hello! There has been so much in the news over the past few months about well respected people in their chosen industry who have abused their position by taking advantage and sexually harassing them and thinking they are untouchable because of their status, making the victims afraid to come forward. But that is now changing, and people are standing up to the perpetrators. It has been a scandal that has affected politics on both sides of the pond, the film industry and the music industry but the Me Too campaign on social media has demonstrated how widespread the problem of sexual harassment in the workplace really is. Though the hashtag was started to spread awareness and empathy it has empow

Emma Swindells tops iTunes Country chart with new EP Radio Silence!

On Friday UK Country singer Emma Swindells released her EP Radio Silence which went straight to number 1 on the iTunes Country charts. Emma has impressed audiences across the UK at various festivals and is known for her skills on the banjo. Her latest offering features five brand new tracks that her fans are going to love especially when they hear them live this year at festivals and gigs. The EP opens with the title track, an upbeat Country Rock track dominated by an electric guitar riff. Emma’s vocals are strong, the chorus lifts and the use of backing vocals helps to step the song up a level and the production and arrangement is very well thought out especially when it breaks down imitati

All you need to know about the artists at C2C 2018!

Since the line up for C2C 2018 has been announced there has been a big discussion on social media, some who love the line up, some who don’t and a few who have said… “who?” I personally am delighted with the line up, Kacey Musgraves is one of my favourite artists, Little Big Town recently brought the house down when I went to see them in Manchester and well Tim and Faith, who wouldn’t want to see a couple of legends like them? But there are a few surprising names on the line up and some which required research! And now with the day splits and more artists announced recently, I’m going to take you through a day by day guide of the artists and recommend a song to start your research into each.
