Wednesday News Round Up!

Well another day, another dollar as they say! Once again Country artists have not been resting on their laurels as new music looms! Today we recieved news that Rhiannon Giddens has a new album set to be released April 9th whilst Tanya Tucker also teased new material. In an interview she said that she's already begun writing with Brandi Carlile again who wrote and produced her last record 'While I'm Livin' - a record that won two Grammy's! She also hopes Shooter Jennings shall be involved once more so we'll keep you posted as that story develops. Ah, Tanya Tucker brings back great memories of Nashville for me. CMA Fest 2019, Marty Stuart dropped out last minute and in stepped Tanya Tucker and Brandi Carlile, it was pouring down in that stadium. We were wet and cold but certainly not miserable as we stood there, arms outstretched as we belted out 'Delta Dawn' at the top of our voices! So I can't wait to hear what Tucker and Carlile are working on next.

Meanwhile we look ahead to the end of the week, on Friday we have a deluxe version of Kip Moore's 'Wild World' album coming out as well as Florida Georgia Line's 'Life Rolls On'. It isn't just the big guns making their move on Friday though, Nashville rising star Kyle Elliott's latest single 'Empty' is available to pre-order from this Friday! Talking of the song Elliott said "Empty is a true turning point for me. This song sets a whole new standard for my releases moving forward. It captures the emotions and true empty feeling of a heartbreak story" Well we can't wait to give this one a spin on the radio, Kyle! The song itself comes out on February 26th but on the 25th, Kyle will be hosting a live stream celebration. Find out all the details on his website.
